Founded in 2019, Mozzico was born out of our passion for pizza, our dedication to authentic Italian cuisine and a mission to bring the most authentic Roman pizza to Amsterdam by using only the freshest, locally-sourced produce and genuine Italian ingredients. What started as a child game making pizza at home, as a cherished family tradition, turned into a passion and a dedicated way of life. Prior to founding Mozzico, our founders immersed themselves in the art of traditional Italian cuisine, with over 17 years of experience, improving their skills and absorbing the rich Italian culinary heritage. This invaluable experience forms the foundation of Mozzico, ensuring every pizza we create is a testament to authentic Italian craftsmanship.

This traditional wood-fire baking method has made Roman-style pizza a global sensation: the intense heat of our wood-fired ovens creates a perfectly crisp crust, infused with a distinct, smoky aroma and a subtle char that adds depth and complexity to every slice.
